How Erin and I Clicked

To be honest I couldn't tell you how long I've known Erin or where we first met. She's one of those people you feel you've always known; everywhere, all the time, all at once. Part of the Vancouver zeitgeist. Plus Erin is connected in so many ways to so many many people I truly respect and love, finding the origin point seems almost impossible. Well, that said... we now share a studio space just off of Main Street and it seems we are somehow on a creative journey together. 

What does your space mean to you Erin?

My home is my safe space. When I feel safe, I can be free with an open heart and creative spirit.

I raise my daughter here, in a feminine sanctuary. We make the rules here and we control who's allowed in. That is one of the things I am most proud of as a single mother raising a young woman.

We play, cry, lose our wits, cuddle, sleep peacefully, meditate, read, run a business, work with actors and host our community here. There is so much love in these 4 walls of creative chaos and female freedom.

We've held family and friends going through hard things in life and we've been held here. I have the tiniest kitchen and somehow it's provided meals, treats, coffee and moments of sanity for everyone I care for.
